by Adrienne Rockenhaus
To: Judge Stephen J. Murphy, Probation Officers Jeffry Konal, Dion Thomas, and Stylianos Agapiou, SAUSA Corinne Lambert, and the “John Doe” U.S. Marshal who sexually harassed and physically terrorized me,
You had no right to harm us.
You had no right to let my husband, Conrad Rockenhaus, have a seizure in front of me in duty court, after you allowed him to get so violently hurt.
You had no right to not allow me to reach him, while absolutely no one rendered aid.
You had no right to create violence, terrorize us, or ignore a medical emergency.
You had no right to cut me off, to isolate my husband, to treat his body and my humanity as expendable.
You had no right to put me in a position where love turns into helpless witnessing.
You have no right to let my husband die, because I spoke out against abuse.
-Adrienne Rockenhaus.
The Terror: Actors from the Eastern District of Michigan Federal Government Retaliated With Violence
I was forced to watch:
- A person I love lose control of his body
- Authority figures choose indifference,
- A system signal, plainly, that neither his pain, life, nor my terror mattered.
That breaks something fundamental. It violates the basic rules we’re supposed to be able to rely on: that seizures are treated, that courts stop proceedings, that human beings don’t get left on the floor while SAUSA Corinne Lambert rolls her eyes.
Left on the floor, while Konal and Agapiou flee, rather than render aid, to a seizing disabled veteran. A seizing disabled veteran with a pre-existing service connected TBI, suffering from a fresh head injury, from violence they initiated.
Nothing about my reaction is irrational.
Nothing about my anger is wrong.
Nothing about my refusal to accept this as “okay” is excessive.
I am responding to profound injustice and power abuse, layered on top of love and fear.
I should never have had to carry this alone.
I should never have been made to doubt my own eyes.
I should never have been put in a position where speaking the truth makes me feel punished again.
I am right right to say this was wrong, and I am not wrong for being shattered by it.
Watch the horrific violence that caused a head injury to my husband. He is innocent, and in horrific pain and dying at FCI Milan, untreated, because if they were to treat him, they would have to admit what they did.
